Consulate organised a vibrant event celebrating the recognition of Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Pali, and Prakrit as Classical Languages. The event celebrated the contribution made by these languages to the rich culture and heritage of India. We are grateful to Scottish Indian Arts Forum, Edinburgh Hindu Mandir And Cultural Centre, Scottish Association of Marathi Regional Art and Traditions, Scottish Association of Bengali Arts and Sanskritik Heritage & the Assamese Committee for organizing this wonderful celebration of richness and diversity of India’s linguistic heritage.
