India-Scotland Business Meet
March 06, 2025
The inaugural session of the India-Scotland Business Meet was held yesterday at the City Chambers, Edinburgh. We were honoured to have Chief Guests Mr. Robert Aldridge, Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Deputy First Minister of Scotland Kate Forbes MSP & Dr. Rajesh Gokhale, Secretary Department of Biotechnology, India. Special remarks were delivered by Prof. Jim McDonald, Chair Scottish Enterprise and Ms. Priya Guha Chairperson, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Industry Advisory Group, UK. Speakers called for enhancement of trade and investment ties between India & Scotland.
An MoU was signed between Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprise, India Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) & Scottish Life-Sciences Association.
