Republic Day Reception at City Chambers, Edinburgh
January 26, 2025
Republic Day Reception was organised by the Consulate General of India, Edinburgh. We were honored by the presence of our guests, Robert Aldridge, The Rt. Hon. Lord Provost and Lord Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh, Kate Forbes MSP, Deputy First Minister of Scotland, Alison Johnstone MSP, Presiding Officer of Scottish Parliament and friends of India. The reception was attended by members of Scottish parliament, government officials, business people and Indian community members. The evening highlighted the enduring India-Scotland partnership & the 75-years of the Indian Constitution. The event also featured Indian classical dance performances on Scottish beats.
