Scam Alert - Indian E-Visa

December 18, 2023

It has been brought to our notice that a number of fake E-visa websites are operating on the internet, claiming to provide E-visas services to visa applicants. In order to mislead applicants, some of these websites have created images and home page templates mimicking the Govt. of India's websites for E-visa application. A few such prominent websites are listed below:

https://www.e-touristvisaindia.com

https://www.e-visaindia.com

https://www.indiavisa.org.in

https://www.evisaindia.com

https://www.online-visaindia.com

https://www.evisaindia.org/

https://www.visatoindia.org/

https://www.india-visa-gov.in/

https://www.indianevisaservice.org/

https://www.evisa-india-online.com/

It is advised that the correct website for E-visa is https://www.indianvisaonline.gov.in. Applicants are requested not to apply on any other website for E-visa services. The e-visa facility is in addition to the existing Regular Visa services being provided through Indian Consulate. E-visa is directly handled by authority in India, consulate has no role in E-Visa.
