The High Commission of India, London intends to PRE-QUALIFY Agencies to assist its CONSULAR WING (s) in LONDON and Consulate (s) General in BIRMINGHAM and EDINBURGH in the
(a) processing of Applications from INDIAN NATIONALS for issuing NEW Passports and Other Passport Related Services, as decided;
(b) processing of Applications from FOREIGN NATIONALS for issuing certificate for SURRENDER of Indian Passport and RENUNCIATION of Indian Citizenship certificate, as decided;
(c) processing of Applications from FOREIGN NATIONALS for issuing VISA;
(d) processing of Applications from FOREIGN NATIONALS for issuing OVERSEAS CITIZEN OF INDIA (OCI) Card (s) and PERSON OF INDIAN ORIGIN (PIO) Card (s);
(e) COLLECTION of BIOMETRIC DATA from FOREIGN NATIONALS applying for visa and also, at a later date from those applying for OCI / PIO cards, as prescribed. The collection of biometric data includes capturing both FACIAL data and FINGERPRINT data.

The Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC), a not-for-profit public private initiative between the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was established on 28th May 2007.
